      It helps that she was particularly enthralled by the flowers of the Lantana bush and gave me ample opportunity to snap photos of her from every conceivable angle :)

The green-tailed trainbearer is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland and heavily degraded former forest.
