    1. Yes it has special glands to expel the salt. It is of course not the only species which has to drink much of the time salty water or at least brackish water. Albatross,penguins and many seabirds which live on rocky outcrops in the oceans. Posted 4 years ago

The Cape Barren goose is a large goose resident in southern Australia. The species is named for Cape Barren Island, where specimens were first sighted by European explorers.
