North American Beaver - Castor canadensis I was out EARLY in the morning in search of moths, when I spotted this cutie. The beaver spent several minutes at a time underwater. The only way to find it was to look for the bubbles!

I didn't intend for the photo to be so dark, but sadly I don't shoot RAW...yet. Although, I kind of like the darkness of this shot.
1. Just to confirm that I picked up your subtle clues:
    - Good job Christine for getting up EARLY. Let it be on record.
    - Interesting that you're interested in RAW!

    1. Good job, Ferdy. I was particularly wanted the applause for getting up early. In case you didn't notice, the time stamp is for 5:28 AM! I must have awoken at around 4:30 AM on this morning to go out in search of moths and wild animals. The RAW comment was a minor quip to show you that your efforts have not been in vain.
