
Tradescantia fluminensis
Native to South America, Wandering Trad can now be found in many of our States across the country, preferring shaded moist situations such as wet sclerophyll forest, rainforest, riparian vegetation and creek banks. Wandering Trad does not set seed, all spread occurs from stem segments that will readily take root when in contact with the soil.
NSW, Queensland and WA have it listed as an environmental weed.
