
Bent-line Carpet Moth - Costaconvexa centrostrigaria
Tan moth with a 2 cm wingspan. The antemedial and postmedial lines form dark brown bands. The postmedial line ends midway across the wing. All four wings have small, black discal spots.
Habitat: Attracted to an incandescent light on an old building bordering a mixed forest

"Costaconvexa centrostrigaria", the traveller or bent-line carpet, is a moth in the family Geometridae. It is native to most of North America, except the Arctic. It is an introduced species in Great Britain, the Canary Islands, the Azores and Madeira.
