  1. May I know how you came to this species ID? Ischnura elegans is a European species. I do see some people have reported it in India, so the ID can be correct, but we have to thoroughly check it. Posted one month ago

      1. Hard to say which is the correct one, there' dozens of blue species in India, and the appearance of damselflies also depends on age and sex.

        For now I'm removing the current ID, given you're not fully sure and this is widely out of range for the species, I'd say it's unlikely to be correct. There is a small chance it's still correct though, but too much of gamble now.

The Little Blue, is a species of damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae. In older books and literature, the species in commonly cited as ''Enallagma parvum'', but it should be corrected.
