Shrub Spurge
it's not really a tree, it's a large beautiful shrub!
it grows mostly at southern Europe and the Mediterranean islands, and in Israel - only in one spot, a wadi (creek) on mount Carmel. One of the estimations is that it was brought there by the people of the Carmelite order, who came here from Europe and settled in the upper parts of this creek back in the middle ages.

"Euphorbia dendroides", also known as tree spurge, is a small tree of the family Euphorbiaceae that grows in semi-arid and mediterranean climates.
