Bidens ferulifolia
Bidens ferulifolia in my garden. These are tiny flowers - but big and dynamic in this macro! Most species occur in the Americas, Africa and Polynesia with some in Europe and Asia. The fruits of the plants within genus Bidens are bristly and barbed, with two sharp pappi at the end...Bidens comes from the Latin bis (two) and dens (tooth).
This is the cultivar 'campfire'. Growing to 30 cm in height and 30 cm wide. Flowers are attractive to bees.
Bidens is vigorous and heat tolerant.
Flower diameter 20 mm

''Bidens ferulifolia'' is a North American plant species in the daisy family. Common names include Apache beggarticks and fern-leaved beggarticks.
