Bryonia cretica is a perennial climber, common in the Eastern Mediterranean region. the branches crawl until they find something to climb on.
it blooms between January and April. flowers resemble cucumber flowers - greenish yellow with 5 petals.
the Bryonia cretica is usually Dioecious with male and female flowers on separate plants, although sometimes you can find separate male and female flowers on the same plant.
