Aboriginal Wells

A cluster of Aboriginal wells beside the Highway at the southern entrance to Gloria Park at Hazelbrook. There were originally twenty wells known there, but some have been covered by road widening.

  They were for a drinking supply. There were over twenty of them at tis spot but they put a highway over the top of them. Posted 4 years ago

  These are documented as being man made wells. Others occur throughout the mountains.
