Lyramorpha rosea
A fine looking stink bug identified by Westwood in 1837. I was unsure at first as to ID, knowing what Lyramorpha rosea look like. The ID was given to me by Philippe Magnien in Paris who is compiling the illustrated world catalogue of Tessaratomidae. He has used this shot for the catalogue.

Lyramorpha rosea is a true bug endemic to Australia, from the family Tessaratomidae. Bugs in this family resemble Stink Bugs, but they are much larger and have proportionally smaller heads.
