    1. I have a frontal photo of this one as well, but did not post it because it lacks sharpness. However, the front one shows key identification marks, which make me reasonably sure of this identification. Posted 12 years ago

        Very nice macro. I love the contrast with the deep green and the little spider hiding behind the flower.

"Chamaenerion angustifolium" is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the willowherb family Onagraceae. It is native throughout the temperate Northern Hemisphere, including large parts of the boreal forests.

Similar species: Myrtles, Evening Primroses.
