Thick-Leaf Fig broad leaves The thick-leaf Fig (Ficus callophylla) has broad thick leaves and that is why the species name means stick stiff leaves in Latin. Fruits are pinkish and have a pointed fruit tip. This fig plant is a strangler which grows on host trees as epiphytes and slowly cover the whole tree over time. There are several of these fig tree in close proximity.<br />
