  1. OK this has been such a good week, with a bunch of rarities and Peruvian endemics, I guess I'll start uploading these most recent photos first and work my way backwards.
    Since 3 of the yesterday's antpittas were endemics as well, this is number 4!

The Marcapata spinetail is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae. It is endemic to Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
