"Happy Thanksgiving from the JungleDragon Team!
In the spirit of the holiday, we are spotlighting the Wild Turkey (Meleagris gallopavo). It is hard to believe that it was once headed down the path to extinction, but decades of conservation efforts and breeding programs proved highly successful in replenishing this iconic bird's numbers. {Spotted in The Netherlands by JungleDragon user, By Frankhuizen Photography). #JungleDragon" Posted 6 years ago
