Yellow Pea Fig
A shrub fig tree fruiting with lots of small yellow fruits. The latin name "Ficus pisocarpa" means pea fig fruit for its small rounded shape. Fruits are distinct with the vivid yellow colour and the protruding rim on the ostiole at the bottom of the fruits.
''Ficus pisocarpa'' is a banyan fig species in the family Moraceae. No subspecies are listed in the Catalogue of Life. The species can be found in southern China, Indo-China and western Malesia including the Philppines. In Vietnam it may be called ''đa đậu''.
