    Sorry, but this is a Barred Warbler (Sylvia nisoria): note the yellow eye, grey color, and barring of the belly.
    An altogether much nicer Sylvia species, in my opinion, and beautifully captured!     Posted 9 years ago

The Barred warbler

The barred warbler is a typical warbler which breeds across temperate regions of central and eastern Europe and western and central Asia. This passerine bird is strongly migratory, and winters in tropical eastern Africa.
