  4. Hi there - I just posted a female titan, length 25cm which is roughly the length they grow to. Male titans are much smaller in length and leaner. Both are a dark brown to grey with noticeable darker spikes and camo/mottled patches. At the length you state, it can't be a nymph (also to explain the paleness and lack of spikes). The only other stick insect here in Australia capable of achieving that length is the gargantuan, but that's up in the rainforests of north-eastern Queensland. "Acrophylla titan", the titan stick insect, is the second-longest stick insect found in Australia. It is native to south-east Queensland and New South Wales.
