Olive Leaf Fig fruit & leaf

Fruit with sap oozing out next to a thick rounded leaf of this strange form Olive Leaf Fig. This is a incredibly variable species. The name comes from some of the forms which have leaves like olive plant leaves. These is the most common montane fig species in the mountains of Sabah. Growing as a short shrub or small epiphyte usually less than 1m tall. Fruits are smooth and hard.
