Olive Leaf Fig fruits
Fruits pointing upwards with long stalk showing the ostiole opening where fig wasps enter. This is an incredibly variable species. The name comes from some of the forms which have leaves like olive plant leaves. This is the most common montane fig species in the mountains of Sabah. Growing as a short shrub or small epiphyte usually less than 1m tall. Fruits are smooth and hard.
