Tree lucerne moth The adult moth appears in two basic forms. Here in the eastern states of Australia, it has dark brown/purple forewings, and bright yellow hind wings with a black border.<br />

In South Australia and Western Australia, the forewings have a broad pale sub-marginal band.<br />

The Tree Lucerne Moth is a moth of the Crambidae family. It is found in New South Wales, Norfolk Island, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.
