      It's a Marvel comic originally, later turned in several movies, series, etc. The main character uses this logo:

      The story in a nutshell: guy has his family murdered and seeks revenge. Turns into an "enforcer" meaning he seeks out criminals and kills them, bypassing regular justice. So a controversial "hero".
      
      Same theme as Dirty Harry and Charles Bronson's Death Wish movies. Secretly we like them cleaning up dirt, yet we can't really say that out loud.
