Allutacea Fig fruits Red-coloured fruits of the Allutacea Fig plant (Ficus allutacea). This fig plant is a root climber which grows on a host tree until it reaches certain height to spread the branches. This species is widespread across Southeast Asia but very rare in Borneo. So far these photos are the only photos of the fresh fruits available online. Borneo have over 150 native fig species and I have documented 1/3 of it together with 1StopBorneo Wildlife expeditions.<br />
