    1. Indeed! Puffbirds are tricky to find because they spend long periods of time motionless, but their strategy clearly pays off, because just about every time I've spotted one, it had just caught a nice meal. Posted 4 years ago

The white-chested puffbird is a species of puffbird in the family Bucconidae. It is one of seven species in the genus ''Malacoptila''. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical and tropical moist lowland forests.
