
Australian black booyong
A buttressed rainforest tree native to this country on the east coast. It has palmate leaves with about seven leaflets that have wavy edges. The tree produces sprays of small white flowers in autumn, followed by winged seeds. The heartwood is pink-brown.

''Argyrodendron actinophyllum'' is a large rainforest tree, native to eastern Australia. Common names include black booyong, blackjack, blush tulip oak, crowsfoot elm and Mackay tulip oak.
