
Large-leaf Bush-pea
A shrub about 3 metres tall with bright yellow pea flowers with deep red keel petals and red markings radiating from the centre on the standard petals. Glossy leaves were wedge-shaped (cuneate) with a short spine at the tip. The flower buds were covered with brown bracts which drop off when the flower opens.
Spotted along the periphery of a sports oval - local park.

''Pultenaea daphnoides'' is a shrub which is endemic to Australia. It is a member of the genus ''Pultenaea'' and the family Fabaceae.
