  1. A bit confused. "Common Three Ring" seems to refer to Ypthima pandocus or Ypthima asterope.
Yet you name it Ypthima nigricans, which has no common name, and is quite obscure, almost no reference photos.

    1. Yes so do I, Ferdy. However, I got this advices from a butterfly experts in Singapore. Initially, I put the ID as Yptima pandocus but according to him, it's a slightly different n he described as ypthima nigcricans n subspecies in West Java is nigricans. So according to him, the ID of this butterfly is Ypthima nigricans nigricans. I know nothing much about the ID of butterflies n he is the one helping me to provide the correct ID so far. 1. Thanks, Sugian.

For now will assume that the expert you know is correct. I did change the title, we should not refer to this one as "Common Three Ring".
