    This is one of the delightful antbirds that sing duet songs, and this particular one is quite common in Paujil, though always quite skulking (shocker). Still, males in particular will readily respond to playback, and if you're lucky, you can catch them on an exposed branch for a second or two.

The black antbird is a species of passerine bird in the family Thamnophilidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
