    1. Aha yes I was quite amazed when I found it! It looked so flimsy I thought it might have been started by a clueless inexperienced bird and then abandoned, but apparently this is the standard for several hermit species!
      As for hummingbirds, hmmm let me see if I can round that number up.... hehehe

The great-billed hermit is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest.
