  1. That's a weird moth! I wonder if it is damaged (lost its scales) or if it naturally looks like this? Posted 4 years ago
    1. It is super weird and awesome! I searched for so long, but can't find a match. But, I think it might be Macaria sp., or else a similar genus. It could be something like Macaria adonis, but with wayyyy more white scales. Maybe there is a similar S. American species?

      @Ferdy, I'm guessing that the scales are supposed to look like this. Some moths have upright or additional scales on top of their normal, fully-reclined scales.
