    Crested Barbet Ferdy, this is the best I could do!<br /> The birds in Johannesburg are a lot shyer than those down south. I had to hide behind the dustbin to finally get this shot! Crested Barbet,Fall,Geotagged,South Africa,Trachyphonus vaillantii,birds,south africa


    These are particularly skittish birds and even with the 400mm lens, a head shot is proving impossible. But I think with this photo you can get a better idea of its crest.
