Pygmy damsel
Pygmy describes animals or plants which are smaller than their typical group!
I found this buddy when I was searching for some small beetles or something under the leaves of Salvadora persica plant (We did not plant this mangrove species, must've got to us through bird dropping). There I saw this beauty, perched idle not moving a bit and it was such a tiny and cute site. Had hard time getting shots of it, but here is a record of the tiniest damsel I know. It is assumed to be under-studies due to its small size as per IUCN redlist summary.

"Agriocnemis pygmaea" is a species of damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae. It is well distributed across Asia and parts of Australia. It breeds in marshes and ponds. The species is found in diverse natural and man made habitats.
