"Satureja thymbra", commonly known as savory of Crete, whorled savory, pink savory, and Roman hyssop, is a perennial-green plant of the family Lamiaceae, having strongly scented leaves, endemic to Libya, southeastern Europe from Sardinia to Turkey; Cyprus, Lebanon and Israel.
