I think that that entry is the winter spider orchid but I can’t get it to show up. I did use Retired aussies orchid website . I did put an entry of mine with INaturalist and it came back as Caladenia tentaculata. Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
You're saying the above is the winter spider orchid?
Or do you mean to say that YOUR 3 new entries are the winter spider orchid? Posted 4 years ago, modified 4 years ago
All 4 entries were already identified as Caladenia tentaculata, yet it had the common name "Fringed orchid", which seems incorrect. So the binomial ID was correct, common name was not, and I suppose this made it confusing. Changed the common name of the species record to Eastern Mantis Orchid instead.
This leaves the question of whether the above linked orchid photo is also Caladenia tentaculata, or whether it was perhaps incorrectly identified as such. Although I'm no expert, I see a lot of reference photos matching almost exactly, example:

So to me, all 4 entries now are correct, it required only a common name change. Let me know if you agree/disagree. Posted 4 years ago
