Keeled Treehopper (Entylia carinata) To be honest, I was unsure what I was photographing when I took this photo. I had a hunch that it was possibly a treehopper, and decided to take the shot just in case. This little guy didn't budge when I moved the flowers, so I decided to pick it up to see if I was just imagining its resemblance to a hopper. Sure enough, it "popped" in my hand and then fell onto the ground! At a meadowy clearing by the reregulation dam. Entylia carinata,Geotagged,Summer,United States Click/tap to enlarge Promoted
