Gray mouse lemur in Kirindi forest at night It is tons of fun chasing mouse lemurs at night in the Kirindi forest. They are very cute, active and curious, yet a challenge to photograph as they will never let you get close. Here is such a cute critter hiding in the bark of a tree. As one of the smaller lemurs, it has quite a lot of enemies to account for. Gray mouse lemur,Kirindy Reserve,Madagascar,Microcebus murinus Click/tap to enlarge Species introCountry intro

The gray mouse lemur, or lesser mouse lemur, is a small lemur, a type of strepsirrhine primate, found only on the island of Madagascar. Weighing 58 to 67 grams, it is the largest of the mouse lemurs, a group that includes the smallest primates in the world.
