  1. In the forest interior, amid myriads of small greenish flycatchers that all look alike, this fellow is a refreshing change of pace. Easily detected thanks to its loud, melancholy whistles, its rufous wings and tail make it beautifully easy to identify! Posted 4 years ago

The rufous-tailed flatbill is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
