
American Yellow Fly Agaric - Amanita muscaria var. guessowii
The cap was yellow and was adorned with numerous whitish, cottony warts. The gills were white and crowded. The stipe was white, shaggy, and had a fragile, skirtlike ring. The stipe ended with a basal bulb that had rings of volval material.
Habitat: There were LOTS of these growing in the forest about a week ago; mixed forest
