Acacia dealbata
Occurring in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania - commonly known as silver wattle, this species develops into a medium-sized tree that can reach a height of 30 metres. The bark is smooth, grey-brown and becomes fissured with age. The bipinnate foliage is bluish-grey and together with the whitish appearance of the branchlets gives the species its common name. The bright yellow flowers are held in globular clusters with up to 35 flowers in each cluster. The tree blooms from late winter to spring.

''Acacia dealbata'', the silver wattle, blue wattle or mimosa, is a species of flowering plant in the legume family Fabaceae, native to southeastern Australia in New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory and widely introduced in Mediterranean, warm temperate, and highland tropical landscapes.
