Spindle Ermine Moth (Yponomeuta cagnagella)
A tricky so 'n' so to photograph due to its diminutive size and reflective white colouration, it's also a fascinating little thing to watch with its antennae continually on the move as if it's desperately trying to tune in to its favourite radio programme.
In caterpillar form, it's not so popular......
A little more about the Spindle Ermine here:

My mum and dad used to make me stand to the side of the TV holding the Arial in place so they could watch the Black & White Minstrels on a Saturday evening.
Which was also, ironically the first TV programme I ever watched in colour. Posted 4 years ago
Which is another programme I had to stand there like a poor man's Atlas, so my parents could watch. Posted 4 years ago
