Except for one kid, who had a better sense of what I was after and helped me track this butterfly once I lost it. By the looks of it, it is an orange lacewing, although according to Wikipedia it is not known to appear in Madagascar. I could be wrong in this. In Madagascar I couldn't sit still, so often I went on a small macro tour around the accomodation after the day walks in search of flowers and insects. The locals frown upon it, and keep asking "chameleon"?

Except for one kid, who had a better sense of what I was after and helped me track this butterfly once I lost it. By the looks of it, it is an orange lacewing, although according to Wikipedia it is not known to appear in Madagascar. I could be wrong in this.
