Found under pines and oaks on a lakeside trail in Bartow County, Georgia, US. August 30, 2020.
Cap/upper surface: : Smooth/bald, pink to light red in color.
Fertile surface: Yellow, immediately stains dark blue.
Stipe: red with yellow undertone, lighter towards the apex.
Taste: Mild.
Odor: smells a bit like a curry spice mix
Chemistry: KOH – light orange on cap. Ammonia-no reaction. Iron salts- light gray/olive on cap.
