Golden Angel's Trumpet Although the flowers look like those of Brugmansia aurea, I believe this is a Brugmansia hybrid - either B. × candida (between B. aurea and B. versicolor) or B. × cubensis (between B. suaveolens, B. versicolor, and B. aurea). 1. Glad to be here!
I uploaded the two species back-to-back for comparison, because they are closely related and can be confused. Brugmansia are woody trees or shrubs, with pendulous, not erect, flowers, that have no spines on their fruit. Datura species are herbaceous bushes with erect (not pendulous) flowers, and most have spines on their fruit. There's more information on the Brugmansia page.
