    1. For boletes and other mushrooms the keys will ask about the spore producing surface so I began to take photos of these whenever I could. I'm going to go back to this spot in the woods tomorrow and collect a cap to get a spore print. Posted 5 years ago

"Suillus spraguei" is a species of fungi in the family Suillaceae. It is known by a variety of common names, including the painted slipperycap, the painted suillus or the red and yellow suillus.
