
Eucalyptus grandis canopy

Also commonly known as rose gum, scrub gum and flooded gum. Notable large tree, average height is around 50 m but some specimens have reached 80m. Silvery-grey to white, smooth bark. Glossy, dark green leaves up to 15 cm in length.

''Eucalyptus grandis'', commonly known as the flooded gum or rose gum, is a tall tree with smooth bark, rough at the base fibrous or flaky, grey to grey-brown. At maturity, it reaches 50 metres tall, though the largest specimens can exceed 80 metres tall.
