  1. We've been getting a lot of rain here lately and this has benefited the fly agarics. Yesterday I saw over two dozen in a patch beneath some balsam fir and quaking aspen. They've been showing up in this spot for many years each August. Posted 5 years ago

      1. Several species are peaking above the the duff here. There was one, a bolete, that I wanted to get more info on but something (a bear?) ate all of them to the ground. Saw some coral fungus yesterday. Posted 5 years ago
