We saw two or three of these big-eyed diurnal hunters at Anjajavy. They were extremely fast. I only got a picture of this one, which I noticed and photographed before it shot off.

Dromicodryas bernieri is one of only two species in this genus, which is endemic to Madagascar. It is a non-venomous diurnal snake that primarily eats lizards but has also been observed eating at least one frog.
