      Yes, this is a geophyte that grows in the sand.
      there are few geophytes that grow in the sand, the Pancratium is really an impressive one, and it grows just off the shore line.
      there is another Pancratium species, that I see I haven't uploaded here... hmmm. this will be corrected soon.

      the desert Pancratium this plant flowers in the fall, before the first rains. <br />
the leaves sprout in the winter, and it grows in the desert sands.  Fall,Geotagged,Israel,Pancratium sickenbergeri,rain flower
