Artemisia serrata (saw-tooth sage) grows in wet habitats while most other species prefer drier soils. This plant was growing along the the banks of the Moose Horn River. While Flora of North America, Flora of Michigan, and Wikipedia all state the species grows in dry barren locations I have only found it it wet soils.
