  • Twin vervet monkeys It is extremely rare for Vervet monkeys to have twins. The only officially recorded incident was in 1946 but both babies died. A total of three possible twin birth have occurred between 1975 and 1991.
It is possible that as these Vervets live in a predator free forest, they had a greater chance of survival.

  • Spanish Dancer This Spanish Dancer - Hexabranchus sanguineus is a very large Nudibranch, around 30 cm.
Usually, Nudibranch are slow crawlers on the sea bottom but when disturbed they can swim in the water column and when do that, the mantle opens up making it look like the skirt of flamenco dancer, hence its name.
